Victoria Case – Stylist Bio
While art and design are major influences on her style, Victoria Case creates original works all her own. Originally hailing from a background in fine art and graphic design, Victoria eventually came to realize that she would rather be running her hands over fabric samples than a computer keyboard. However, her progression to fashion and styling is no surprise, as her immediate and extended family is comprised of boutique owners, fashion buyers, and all-around clothes lovers. “My mom has amazing style. Most of my childhood pictures are of me in her heels, scarves or hats,” recalls Victoria. “Styling comes very naturally to me.”
After taking part in several photo shoots for bands and local musicians, Victoria began to explore work as an independent stylist. She immediately received requests from photographers looking for help on personal projects and discovered that she loved working on creating full looks on any budget. “I like the challenge of working within specific needs, albeit budget, coloring, branding, or just even the client’s comfort.”
Her versatility as an artist and unique, Euro-mix style has made her a go-to stylist for Nashville’s premiere music and film scene. “My style is practical, but over the top,” she says with a laugh. “A lot of people are drawn to that high-low, mix-and-match style.” “I love the creativity of Rodarte but also the classic Channel; it is all about creating something unforgettable.”
But one thing that really sets her apart is her personality. Most people with her level of creative genius might be high-strung or overwhelming to work with, but she remains confident and collected in every situation. “I believe that listening to the client is the most important thing, “ she says earnestly. “I really try to absorb everything I can about their brand, then dive in with my own ideas and suggestions.”
