Heather Cummings

Heather’s career in makeup began as a part time gig studying Aesthetics at the prestigious Toni and Guy Academy.Shortly after moving to Los Angeles a (makeup artist) friend invited her to the set of a feature film to watch him work. Needless to say, she knew at that moment, she wanted to shift gears and focus on makeup as a full time career. So, she began studying in LA and New York to perfect her craft.Heather started freelancing for cosmetic companies such as, Chanel, Prescriptives, Lauder, and Lauder Mercier. She then made the transition in to print, film, and tv.Some of her more recent works includes: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and “The Rich List”, “Teen Choice Awards”, The CW Network, Comedy Central’s “Special Unit”, as well as the features “Lovewrecked”, “Haven”, “Anchorman”, and “Grind”.

She has worked with celebrities such as Kathy Griffin, Alec Baldwin, William H. Macy, Bill Paxton, Stacy Keibler, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Lance Bass, Joy Bryant, Hillary Duff, and Randy Quaid, to name a few.

Heather is a Emmy Nominated Makeup Artist, and a member of the Local 706 Makeup Artists and Hair Union.

After living in Los Angeles for so many years, Heather decided to shake things up a bit and go back to her roots. So she now calls Nashville (and her suitcase) home.
